It features choices for the problem type, the difficulty level, and two different modes of play. The problem type can be addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a random mix. In addition to "Easy", "Medium" and "Hard", a new play level, "Visual", has been added with version 2.0. The problems in "Visual" mode are the same as "Easy", but young children are helped by counting apples. Version 2.2 adds an "Advanced" mode to challange 5th and 6th graders. Version 3.0 includes a scoring system to further motivate children to score as high as possible. Also, the "Play Game" mode is now the default.
